I started over 30 years ago as a specialty contractor for large projects in Saudi Arabia, Europe, and the USA. Through my involvement and project experience, I realized how disjointed the construction development industry is and the vast room for process improvement. As a result of my efforts to connect the dots and improve the project's delivery I was executing, my career evolved towards Innovation and Technology. As an executive internal consultant for major construction groups in Saudi Arabia, I led and orchestrated all aspects of their organizational and digital transformation programs to streamline AEC processes from planning, design, and construction into operations. 

I recently founded "Construct 360", a smart construction development concept that combines my hands-on industry experience with an external/ interim consulting perspective that is time-saving and cost-effective. It focuses on leveraging my extensive industry practical knowledge to align organizational processes and systems seamlessly with smart construction principles to reduce project timelines and increase ROI.

I am an Italian national with Middle Eastern roots who has participated in and executed many challenging construction and development projects worldwide. Fluent in English, Italian, French, and Arabic, I hold an MBA in International Business and Management - Construction Pathway - from the University of Manchester.

MY PROFESSIONAL HISTORY

  • EARLY START

    I have set up successful companies, including CBMS, a specialty construction company in Como-Italy. I have managed an exclusive NPL Real Estate fund advisor of €40 million. I planned and delivered high-profile construction projects, including the Justice Court of Padova - IT, Isveimer Tower Napoli - IT, Mena Royal Complex Mecca - KSA, Justice Court of Luxembourg - LU, Nixdorf Computer HQ Bern, Switzerland - Khalchbuhl Commercial Complex Chur. I also managed Sharalton Condo Hotel Miami Beach, USA.

  • 2007 - FIRST MILESTONE

    As an Executive Internal Management Consultant and Transformation Leader for IBS, a subsidiary of the Nesma Group, I delivered business improvement plans and implemented MIS. I also led organizational transformations and produced a material analysis plan from China. In addition, I was in charge of redefining job descriptions, developing linked KPI and incentive programs, planning workflow, assessing priorities, allocating timescales, and distributing work by specialization. Lastly, I introduced a 4D solution concept to enhance collaboration and lean practices across departments at this company.
  • 2013 - SECOND MILESTONE

    As a Digital Transformation Leader at the Saudi Binladin Group, I led the design and implementation of an Integrated 5D Project Information Process and restructured a 50 Bn complex megaproject organization. In addition, I implemented the Project Procurement and Work Packages concept and created an Integrated Cost Plan to govern contract deliverables and control correlation between budget, billing, and costs. I also established a positive environment that accommodated diverse team roles to maintain a cohesive team-based culture. As a result, I was able to maximize the potential of 100+ people.

  • 2016 - TODAY

    I am a Partner and Transformation Advisor at "Righini Business Consulting. I specialize in advising clients on developing and implementing smart construction business models. I help clients plan and implement a cloud-based system to manage company-wide digital transformation. I provide insights on future scenarios and opportunities related to emerging technologies and best practices commonly associated with the construction industry. I lead the development and implementation of modern construction methods that facilitate industrialized processes, thus achieving faster project delivery with higher ROIs.
  • FUTURE

    The construction industry is going through a rapid transformation using new technologies and more sustainable materials. The future for construction development will be about designing functional and environmentally friendly buildings, healthy, durable, safe, and affordable. I want to help digitalized construction by leveraging my extensive knowledge in this industry using the “Construct 360” concept to align company organizational processes and systems seamlessly with smart construction practices to reduce project timelines and increase their return on investment (ROI) without sacrificing quality or increasing cost. In addition, I will continue developing the concept to ensure that it is up to date and adaptable into accurate and valuable advisory for clients.
